Crows, Ravens and Corvids

Corvids have been perceived as the rogues of the Bird world, the ones who appear in stories and mythology throughout time and from all over the world. They have an association with doom, gloom and death, maybe because they are black.
But I don’t see them that way! I see them as Wise Creatures that sit and observe us humans.
I love their understated beauty and how they appear as a simple black bird, but then the light catches their feathers and you are surprised with a shot of iridescent vibrant colour.
