Liisa wanted to create a painting that paid Homage to Corvids by showing people that they are not just simple black birds, but so much more than that.
They are almost God-like and we should appreciate their amazing intelligence, loyalty and beauty… by making them Icons and giving them their Gold God-like Halo… but the Halos are a little bit wobbly and don’t have precise lines!
Why? Because Corvids wouldn’t want to be perfect would they?
Painted within its Main body in a Stong Prussian Blue Colour is its Name: Crow.
Painted Acrylic on a Wood Panel and Framed in a Black Ayous Frame.
The wood panel has been finished in a Satin varnish for added protection.
Signed by Liisa Clark on the back of the painting.
